Four Inc. procures IT solutions for federal government agencies. Their relationships with key manufacturers, including IBM, VMWare, and Hewlett-Packard, allow them to offer a wide array of technology products and purchasing options.
VIEW FULL SITEFour Inc. approached us at a time when they were close to securing a major new contract vehicle. This opened up the opportunity to go after bigger government contracts, and the company’s previous website couldn’t support such efforts. Our primary challenge was to help establish Four Inc.’s credibility by developing a site that communicates strength and professionalism, clearly defines the company’s core objectives, and includes a complete catalog of the contract vehicles they serve.
We partnered with Pinkston to facilitate a day-long discovery workshop with several members of Four Inc.'s team. We helped them identify strengths and weaknesses, what differentiates their services, as well as define primary and secondary goals for the project. We also created user personas that helped their team hone in on key messaging for the site, and in their marketing in general.
By using a series of short video clips that showcase well-known Washington, DC locations, we visually communicated Four Inc.’s roots in the federal sector and left a strong impression on visitors to the Four Inc. website. Our video team captured some fantastic time-lapse photography for this project.

We wanted to make it immediately evident the types of manufacturers and agencies Four Inc. works with. To this end, we included a list of manufacturers visually identified by their logos, and a series of federal agencies with supporting images and seals, right on the home page.
Since a primary goal was to establish credibility, we encouraged Four Inc. to have professional portraits taken of their leadership team, and include descriptions that underscore the experience and expertise they possess.
It was important to Four Inc to include a comprehensive list of all the contract vehicles that they serve. We installed and configured Craft content management system where they can easily and quickly make edits to this list, along with the ability to modify most other content on their site.
